About Me
Gary Neil Corbett is a 62 year old Canadian Photographer based in Nova Scotia. He began studying photography as a child toting around a Kodak Brownie. Later he studied art and photography while in university but pursued a career as a Biologist. Now retired he has more time to devote to photography, fishing and golf. He began submitting images to SuperStock Inc over 20 years ago. His work has been used all over the world in books, magazines, advertising, packaging, Internet, fine art prints and other media. Gary likes to take an idea or concept and then go out and put the shot together. After shooting film for over 50 years he now uses digital single lens reflex cameras and photoshop computer software. He says he likes seeing the results of his work instantly instead of having to wait for film to be developed. If the image does not fit the concept he was looking for he can just keep shooting until he is satisfied with the result.
